Andersen is hiring a DevSecOps Lead for a project building secure fintech infrastructure, enhancing AWS architecture, and supporting reliable payment operations.
The customer is an international fintech company focused on improving digital payment experiences for online businesses. The organization develops scalable payment solutions that help merchants increase transaction success rates, simplify checkout processes, and support flexible payment scenarios for end users. Its platform integrates with various payment providers and business systems, enabling seamless processing of multi-source and collaborative payments through a unified API-driven infrastructure.
The project is focused on building secure and scalable fintech infrastructure for payment solutions in the travel industry. It includes enhancing AWS-based architecture, implementing enterprise-grade security standards, and supporting compliance initiatives to ensure reliable and secure payment operations.
Responsibilities:
Leading implementation of PCI DSS controls across infrastructure and application layers.
Designing secure AWS architectures (VPC segmentation, IAM boundaries, least privilege).
Implementing encryption standards (data at rest and in transit).
Setting up and managing security tooling (e.g. WAF, GuardDuty, logging/monitoring).
Working directly with auditors and internal stakeholders.
Owning AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (SST / CDK / Pulumi / Terraform).
Improving deployment reliability and environment consistency.
Integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Implementing secrets management and secure configuration practices.
Architecting systems for high-volume financial transactions.
Improving reliability, fault tolerance, and observability.
Optimizing cloud architecture for performance and cost.
Acting as the internal Security Champion.
Defining best practices for cloud architecture and secure development.
Mentoring engineers on secure coding and infrastructure practices.
Must-haves:
Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Backend Infrastructure for 4+ years.
Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
Proven experience working on or implementing PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
Deep understanding of IAM & least privilege, Network security (VPCs, subnets, isolation), Encryption & secrets management.
Experience building or maintaining secure, scalable systems.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-have:
Experience in fintech, payments, or high-compliance environments.
