📌 We are looking for a Manual/Functional Test Engineer on behalf of our client for working on large-scale social media applications used globally.

📍 Location: Warsaw and Gdansk, Poland

  • Hybrid: 4 days onsite work (MUST)

  • Working days: Sunday to Thursday

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed test plans for web-based and device-based applications/features (social media applications (Family of Apps) and their software features).

  • Develop detailed test cases/test suites for the application features, change requests, and new business requirements.

  • Execute test cases to test new features, changes, defects, regression, and new releases.

  • Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop-based).

  • Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.

  • Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.

  • Test suite and defect log maintenance.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.

  • Experience in test management, defect management activities, and related tools.

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Pytest).

  • Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance.

  • Familiarity with social media applications, platforms, and media is highly desirable.

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (business, dev, infra, security, etc).

Good to have Skills:

  • Experience with social media application testing.

  • Knowledge of social media application features, system integrations.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments.
