We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team responsible for ensuring the quality of key business applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in software testing, strong SQL skills, and practical knowledge of working with relational databases. The role focuses on functional testing, data validation, and backend process analysis.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute manual tests (functional, integration, regression).
Perform data-focused testing, including validation of data flows, transformations, and backend processing.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, verify test results, and support testing activities.
Experience testing APIs (REST, SOAP).
Analyze application logs and database data to identify potential defects and root causes.
Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, test scenarios, test reports).
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
Report and track defects throughout their lifecycle (using Jira or similar tools).
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall product quality.
Participation in scrum ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily, etc.)
Requirements

Key Responsibilities Test Automation: Actively participate in the test automation process, creating and maintaining automated test scripts and tools. Test Design: Design and implement comprehensive test cases based on technical requirements. Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and report software defects in a clear and timely manner. Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Architects, and fellow QA Engineers to ensure the highest software quality and find optimal solutions to technical issues.
