We are seeking a skilled SAP Tester to join our team. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP software applications through comprehensive testing. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective test strategies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our business-critical applications.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate software quality.
Identify, document, and report software defects, collaborating with developers to facilitate timely resolution.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement test strategies.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of SAP applications.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP software applications.
Create and maintain documentation for testing processes, defect tracking, and resolutions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in testing within the SAP environment.
In-depth understanding of mapping tests in solution documentation and test suites using SAP Solution Manager.
Project experience related to UKA (business-critical applications) in an RU context.
Basic practical experience in SAP modules, like MM, PM, PP.
Experience in maintaining test scripts and managing error cases.
Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and practices.
Nice to have: valid certification in IT Service Management according to Information Technology Infrastructure standards.
Fluent proficiency in English.
Knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
