About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support Adhop, a large-scale web platform hosting over 4000 individual websites. The platform is centered around AEM as the CMS and includes a custom backend application, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, and an AWS-based environment with Jenkins as CI/CD. The role involves ensuring the quality of delivered IT solutions within an Agile Scrum environment across the full feature delivery lifecycle, from refinement sessions to deployment to production.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Actively participate as a member of the Scrum team, ensuring the quality of delivered IT solutions. 

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. 

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automated test plans and test cases. 

  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan test activities. 

  • Design, execute, and document manual tests. 

  • Identify, record, and track defects. 

  • Define and perform regression tests. 

  • Stay current with new testing tools and strategies, continuously improving the testing process in the assigned project



Required Skills:

  • Professional experience as QA Engineer in web testing.

  • Strong communication skills in both Polish and English. 

  • Knowledge of tools supporting test activities, including browser dev tools, Postman or Swagger, Mitm proxy, Lighthouse, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with any CMS. 

  • Proactive approach to problem solving. 

  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. 

  • Hands-on experience with API testing. 

  • Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases using various test design techniques. 

  • Experience in software development within the Agile/Scrum process. 

  • Experience with Jira or another SDLC management supporting tool.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience as a QA Engineer in the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) area. 

  • Experience in NFR testing such as accessibility, SEO, and web performance. 

  • Hands-on experience with test automation, preferably in TypeScript or Python, or willingness to learn. 

  • Experience with monitoring logs in AWS. 

  • Experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD tool. 

  • Basic skills in using Linux terminal.
