We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee quality standards across our core web applications and CMS ecosystems. In this role, you will collaborate with an established Agile team dedicated to delivering high-performance web products and robust API integrations. This position is ideal for an analytical professional who thrives on identifying system vulnerabilities and ensuring optimal software reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing for web-based platforms.
- Validate internal and external API endpoints to ensure data integrity and system performance.
- Design, author, and maintain comprehensive test documentation and structured test cases.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to estimate workloads, prioritise tasks, and coordinate QA workflows.
- Partner with software engineers and product stakeholders to identify, isolate, track, and resolve technical defects.
Requirements
- Professional QA Experience: Documented commercial experience as a QA Engineer specialising in web testing.
- Technical Toolset: Proficiency with development and inspection tools, including browser developer tools, Postman, Swagger, Mitmproxy, and Lighthouse.
- API & CMS Testing: Practical experience validating APIs and working within Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Test Design: Strong capability in utilising established test design techniques to write clear, precise, and comprehensive test scripts.
- Agile Methodologies: Solid experience working within standard Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles utilising Jira or equivalent SDLC management tools.

This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of new features before they reach business UAT, supporting multiple webspaces, themes, and locales. The consultant will play a key role in defining and growing the QA process from the ground up while acting as the quality bridge between developers and business stakeholders. The ideal profile brings strong experience in manual web application testing, a structured approach to quality assurance, and a keen eye for identifying issues before they impact end users. Role Functionally test new features before they reach business UAT across multiple webspaces, themes, and locales. Design, write, and maintain test cases, checklists, and regression suites tied to acceptance criteria. * Perform exploratory and edge-case testing, actively looking for gaps that developers and business stakeholders may miss. * Test content editor workflows in the Sulu admin, including pages, blocks, snippets, menus, and multi-language content. * Perform cross-browser and responsive verification. * File clear, reproducible bug reports and verify fixes. * Run release verification before deployments and act as the quality bridge between developers and business stakeholders. * Help define and grow the QA process from the ground up. Profile Proven manual testing experience on web applications. Experience designing test cases and producing structured bug reports using any tracking tool. * Strong attention to detail and a natural instinct to “try to break things.” * Solid understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing. * Understanding of CMS and content management workflows. * Good communication skills in English and Polish. Nice to have Basic API testing experience using Postman or similar tools, and basic SQL knowledge. Familiarity with CI/CD and an understanding of where QA fits into the delivery pipeline. * Exposure to, or an interest in, test automation, with room to grow the role in this direction. * Experience testing multilingual and multi-market websites. * Basic understanding of accessibility testing.
