Board Certified MD/DO Primary Care physician needed for an outpatient practice combining urgent care and primary care, located about 20 minutes north of Orlando, FL.

• Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and 10:30 AM–7:00 PM (1 day per week); 5-day work week
• Patient volume: ~27 patients per day
• Current staffing: 1 doctor in place
• Compensation: base about $200K–$220K+
• Spanish: bilingual Spanish preferred

Description

Provide urgent and non-urgent health care within an outpatient primary care/urgent care community clinic with a multicultural patient population. Elicit detailed patient histories, conduct complete physician examinations, reach diagnoses, order appropriate lab tests and referrals, and counsel patients and families on health and disease.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent and non-urgent outpatient health care
• Collect detailed patient histories and perform complete physician examinations
• Diagnose conditions and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Provide referrals when needed
• Counsel patients and families on health and disease
• Practice according to clinic general policies and established standards

Requirements

• Board Certified MD/DO Primary Care physician
• Ability to provide both urgent and non-urgent outpatient care
• Strong skills in patient history-taking and physician examinations
• Experience ordering labs and managing referrals
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Benefits

• Base compensation: approximately $200K–$220K+
