Description

You will work directly with international clients to solve practical data challenges in the taxes and finance domain. The role blends discovery and business consulting with hands-on data engineering—from data quality analysis to pipeline and reporting model development and AI/ML-enabled workflows. You’ll be responsible for turning requirements and technical findings into solutions that business teams can use.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops: gather requirements and deeply understand business processes (finance, taxes)
• Analyze, profile, and investigate the quality of source data
• Design and build data pipelines, transformation logic, reporting models, and advanced data reconciliation mechanisms
• Implement AI/ML solutions for data processing

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience
• English C1 (required) for daily technical and business communication
• Experience working with business clients and ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Domain experience where data consistency and verification matter (taxes, customs, accounting, audit, financial reporting, treasury, supply chain)
• Practical knowledge of Databricks (preferred) or Snowflake / Alteryx
• Strong SQL and practical Python
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT and data reconciliation/validation techniques
• Experience with structured and semi-structured data
• Data visualization experience (Power BI, Sigma)
• Familiarity with modern AI/ML tools that support data processing
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Bonus: Experience in Data Governance / Data Quality projects
