Role: Data & Cloud Engineer (CAD/GIS) — B2B contractor. Hybrid in Wrocław or 100% remote. Rates: Mid 100–140 PLN/h, Senior 140–180 PLN/h.

Description

Support the Store Visualisation team that digitally models dm stores by connecting CAD, GIS and data flows. You will build and evolve data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and Snowflake, help implement cloud solutions for applications, and advise on modernising CAD processes toward an object-based planning approach.

Responsibilities

• Support development of data infrastructure and data-product ecosystems based on GCP and Snowflake.
• Help analyze and deploy cloud solutions for applications.
• Advise on modernising CAD systems toward a modern, object-based space-planning workflow.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create and improve design and architectural standards.

Requirements

• Polish skills (C1) and English (minimum B2).
• Several years of experience in data architecture (Big Data, analytics technologies, Data Mesh, data products), ideally including geospatial/CAD/BIM.
• Deep cloud architecture knowledge (preferred: Google Cloud Platform).
• Practical experience with Python, GraphQL, Snowflake, Kafka, Terraform/OpenTofu, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of IT security topics for operational data products (RBAC, Monitoring & Alerting, automated dependency management).
