Description

Build backend services and APIs for the Earnings Dashboard and other payments features that help Hosts grow their income and drive revenue. Translate product, compliance, and regulatory requirements into clean, well-tested code. Develop the data and services behind performance metrics, recommendations, and reports, and implement experimentation, logging, and metrics so Product and Data Science can measure impact.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex features with data-driven decision making and performance optimizations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Data Science, Finance, Legal, and other engineering teams) to understand and prioritize requirements.

• Use data to find gaps in conversion, Host engagement, and reliability, and drive fixes and improvements.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in backend/full-stack development.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS (or equivalent experience).

• Exposure to Java and experience building services in a distributed microservice environment.

• Fluency in frontend web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, React, GraphQL).

• Demonstrated expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures.

• Passion for efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and cross-functional teams.

Benefits

• Pay range: $160,000—$180,000 USD.

• May be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

• Remote eligible, with occasional work at an office or attendance at offsites as agreed with your manager.
