Description

Software Engineer II designs, develops, and maintains software solutions that power products, systems, and tools. You will collaborate with teammates and stakeholders, deliver high-quality software, and continue growing your skills through ongoing learning and professional development. The role also expects agentic AI coding tool proficiency to accelerate feature delivery while validating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Develop product and system components with a stronger focus on quality than more junior engineers

• Progress from ticket/spec-driven implementation to contributing to requirements, architecture, and design

• Implement frontend (web/mobile) using React/React Native and related web technologies as applicable

• Implement backend systems/components using C#/.NET and/or Node.js as applicable

• Write reliable, tested code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines

• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes; maintain a defects and mitigation knowledge base

• Use agentic AI coding tools to reduce boilerplate and increase throughput

• Serve as a quality gate for AI-generated code by reviewing for logical errors, security flaws, performance issues, and requirements alignment

• Participate in daily agile stand-ups, story creation/sizing/updating

• Share on-call/escalation responsibilities

Requirements

• 2–5 years of industry software engineering experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
