Description

You will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team delivering trusted payments processing platform technology for mission-critical payout activity. Responsibilities span secure production code, troubleshooting, architecture/design artifacts, and continuous improvement using insights from large data sets. You will also use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools while critically validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions: design, development, and technical troubleshooting; think beyond routine approaches

• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms with underlying systems

• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation) with peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards

• Apply Software Development Life Cycle toolchain knowledge, including AI-enabled development and automation

• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met

• Gather/analyze/synthesize data and create visualizations and reporting to improve systems

• Identify hidden issues and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience

• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools; ability to validate and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security

• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows (data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, resiliency and security expectations) and ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage

• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
