• Team: 11 full-time anesthesiologists and 20+ CRNAs; CRNA medical direction model
• ORs/Procedural Suites: 12 total ORs (including 1 OB OR suite) plus 4 Endo/GI suites; off-site surgery center (4 ORs, 1 procedure room); off-site outpatient endoscopy center (4 procedure rooms)
• Call: approximately every 5–6 days (mix of first call and backup)
• Patient mix: healthy pediatric cases (mainly ENT); no open-heart surgery; no heads cases

• Compensation: $530–560k plus benefits and a $20k annual quality bonus (W2)
• PTO/CME: 9 weeks PTO; 1 week CME; $3,500 annual CME allowance

Description

Employed Anesthesiologist position with a robust recruitment package, joining an anesthesiology group at Mount Nittany Medical Center and affiliated ambulatory centers starting June 2026. The role uses a CRNA medical direction model with coverage across multiple service lines (General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, Vascular). Call is approximately every 5–6 days, and the case mix excludes open-heart and heads cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthesia services across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Collaborate within a physician + CRNA model under medical direction
• Cover scheduled OR and procedural room assignments including off-site facilities

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Availability for employment and coverage starting the June 2026 opening
