• Licensure: CT licensure preferred; IMLC accepted

Description

Provide part-time, flexible psychiatric coverage for children and adolescents in the pediatric Psych ED. You will evaluate and treat patients ages 3–21 alongside a PMHNP partner, with telepsych only in very rare circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time, flexible psychiatric coverage in the pediatric Psych ED

• Evaluate and treat children and adolescents ages 3–21 (primarily 6–18)

• Work with a PMHNP partner; rarely more than 10 patients per day

• Use telepsych only in very rare circumstances

Requirements

• BC/BE in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

• At least 1–3 years of inpatient psychiatry or Psych ED experience

• Connecticut license required (IMLC accepted); willing to obtain licensure

• DEA required
