Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician (Locum Tenens)

• Coverage: 1–2 weeks per month, including periodic weekend call

• Day shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

• Patient population: Adult patients

• Clinical volume: 17–18 patients per day

• Cath lab support: Operates ~3 days per week

Description

Provide clinic coverage, cardiology procedures, and on-call services as a non-interventional cardiologist. You will manage outpatient adult patients and perform diagnostic and procedural responsibilities, working with APP support and accessing interventional cardiology when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient adult cardiology care

• Perform diagnostic and procedural workflows (including non-invasive testing)

• Provide periodic on-call/weekend coverage during coverage blocks

• Collaborate with APP support

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

• Nuclear cardiology board certification required

• Echocardiography board certification required

• CT reading certification preferred (not required)

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC accepted)

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Proficiency in nuclear stress testing and nuclear reads

• Proficiency in echocardiograms

• Proficiency in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)

• Cardioversion experience

• Stress testing and echo monitoring

• Comfort managing clinic patients and procedural workflows

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
