Description

Full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist role with a physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the Central Florida region. The position combines outpatient clinic duties with inpatient consultative care across affiliated hospitals. Optional academic appointment and fellow mentorship are available through the ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
• Conduct nuclear cardiology studies
• Perform stress testing
• Provide preventive cardiology and medication management
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
• Provide cardiac CT services based on training and interest
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, CT surgeons, APPs, and support staff

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training programs
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Training or strong interest in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, and/or cardiac CT
• Board certification in Echocardiography and/or Nuclear Cardiology preferred, but not required
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes
• Eligible for H-1B and J-1 physician waiver sponsorship
