Description

Build responsible, data-powered Generative AI systems by integrating data sources, creating AI agents, and developing backend services and pipelines. You will design microservices aligned with the broader GenAI architecture and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and context-aware AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create AI agents that source data from systems used by Generative AI models
• Design and develop reliable data transfer pipelines
• Build microservices aligned with the GenAI solution architecture
• Integrate diverse data sources to enable scalable AI experiences
• Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Participate in data integration involving databases, big data technologies, and cloud platforms
• Support implementation and evaluation of RAG and context-aware AI solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and GCP BigQuery
• Practical knowledge of Hadoop, Starburst, data virtualization, or vector stores
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure Cloud
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, memory stores, and context engineering
• Experience with Google ADK and AI evaluation systems
• Communicative English
• Legal right to work in Europe
