Description

You will develop and implement FPGA control algorithms and communication interfaces, including simulations, deployment, and analysis with the engineering team. The role also involves improving FPGA development tooling and workflows, proposing device enhancements, and producing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement control algorithms and communication interfaces in FPGA systems
• Prepare and run simulations of designed functionality
• Launch, operate, and analyze implemented solutions with the project team
• Develop and maintain tools that support and optimize FPGA software development
• Propose and implement new concepts and improvements in designed devices
• Work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
• Write technical documentation related to completed tasks

Requirements

• Higher education or last-year student status in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, or related fields
• Practical knowledge of VHDL
• Good knowledge of FPGA architecture (Intel, Xilinx)
• Experience with synthesis tools (Quartus, Vivado) and simulation tools (ModelSim)
• Knowledge of the FPGA compilation process
• Ability to use version control systems (GIT, SVN)
• Basic knowledge of TCL and Python
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics
• English knowledge enabling effective communication in an international environment
