Description

We’re looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with a strong delivery mindset to strengthen the engineering team. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications, drive continuous integration improvements, and help define architecture, standards, and guidelines for a globally deployed solution. You’ll collaborate with your pod and support product management to deliver a robust, sustainable system aligned with business requirements and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications
• Drive continuous integration and improvements
• Drive architecture, standards, and guidelines for a globally deployed solution
• Support product management in driving the product roadmap
• Work closely with the rest of the pod to ensure delivery of a robust and sustainable solution meeting business requirements with consideration of user experience
• Ensure alignment to organizational guidelines, principles, standards, and processes
• Advise Business Analysts, Testers, and Management on technical matters

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing Java applications
• Skills in SQL databases, ideally Oracle
• Knowledge of SDLC platforms and processes, including REX (release executor), the RFC process, and GSNOW/Atlas
• Proficiency in a Linux-based server environment, including bash (shell) scripting
• Understanding of all aspects of the application development (SDLC) and support life cycle
• Well-developed business communication skills (written and verbal) and experience working in a global team
• Strong prioritization and time management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
