Description

You will develop and maintain core Java server applications that support the securities trade lifecycle. The role includes building new features, creating streaming applications with Apache Flink, and writing unit, integration, and behavior tests within a Scrum team using BDD to refine requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain the existing codebase

• Develop streaming applications with Apache Flink

• Write unit, integration, and behavior tests

• Collaborate within a Scrum development team

• Refine user requirements through behavior-driven development (BDD)

• Collaborate with other global IT teams

• Provide Level 3 support to assist production operations during rollouts and support-related matters

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java programming

• Experience with the Spring stack (Spring Framework, Spring Boot)

• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle)

• Clean coding and refactoring skills with strong problem-solving ability

• Hands-on agile experience, especially Scrum

• Awareness of test-driven and behavior-driven development

• Hands-on SQL and Unix experience

• Experience with CI/CD

• Ability to improve legacy codebases and apply modern best practices

• Proactive communication and comfort working in fast-paced, changing environments

• Strong written and verbal English skills; desire to work in a global team
