Description

Build scalable backend services for mobile games and internal tools using .NET and modern technologies. Design and deliver backend features and integration interfaces, evaluate frameworks/platforms/APIs, and work with a Technical Project Manager to deliver roadmap items while maintaining code quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build backend solutions for games and internal tools

• Develop robust, scalable .NET backends using Redis, Scylla DB, Postgres, Kubernetes, and other technologies

• Evaluate and make decisions about frameworks, platforms, and APIs

• Deliver product services/features with strong coding standards, requirements, and quality

• Estimate work, communicate technical solutions, and report progress

• Collaborate with a Technical Project Manager to design and deliver complex services, workflows, and integration interfaces

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on experience building gamedev backend solutions

• 5+ years software development experience with .NET

• Solid computer-science foundation (data structures, algorithms, software engineering practices)

• Experience scaling and optimizing backend services (caching, distributed processing, replication, performance profiling)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their strengths/weaknesses

• Understanding of development best practices and standards

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Strong communication with cross-team collaboration experience
