Description

Build and deliver a secure file transfer platform for a critical external financial services partner using private connectivity, BGP routing, Amazon S3, and an isolated AWS environment. You will separate partner traffic from business-critical production traffic, covering architecture, implementation, testing, migration, documentation, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BGP routing over redundant IPsec VPN tunnels.
• Design isolated AWS environments with VPCs, Transit Gateway, and controlled routing.
• Implement a secure managed file transfer solution based on partner protocol requirements.
• Integrate file transfer services with Amazon S3 and internal systems.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure through infrastructure as code.
• Implement access controls, encryption, secrets management, logging, and monitoring.
• Define file validation, recovery, reconciliation, and failure-handling processes.
• Plan and complete migration with parallel testing and rollback procedures.
• Produce architecture diagrams, network plans, implementation documents, and operational runbooks.
• Coordinate delivery with partner, security, network, application, and platform teams.

Requirements

• Extensive production experience with AWS infrastructure and networking.
• Strong knowledge of VPCs, Transit Gateway, IPsec VPNs, BGP, and routing.
• Experience with Amazon S3, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, and VPC endpoints.
• Experience with managed file transfer platforms and external partner integrations.
• Strong network, Linux, and application troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with security controls, monitoring, recovery testing, and incident response.
• Strong technical writing and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Mandatory availability Monday–Friday 11:00 am – 20:00 CET.
