Description

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer manages and optimizes the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and efficient operation. Responsibilities include system health/availability management, Linux/Microsoft server and application troubleshooting, cycle patching and urgent patch deployment, security patching with reporting, and infrastructure documentation. The role also covers virtualization and backups, cloud infrastructure builds, operational automation, customer/service provisioning across cloud and on-prem, and integrating cybersecurity into agile platform operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and availability across systems/components

• Troubleshoot issues in Linux and Microsoft server/application environments

• Perform cycle patching and deploy urgent/critical patches

• Apply security patches regularly and submit monthly reports

• Support MSS IT infrastructure

• Manage and optimize policy/configuration management

• Develop and document internal IT infrastructure

• Execute weekly/monthly/quarterly tasks and reporting

• Manage virtualization environments and backup solutions

• Build and manage infrastructure in public clouds (Azure, OCI)

• Automate operational tasks and platform upkeep

• Automate provisioning of new customers/services across cloud and on-prem

• Integrate and administer Linux and Windows platforms

• Integrate cybersecurity technologies in an agile environment

• Support continuous testing, integration, and deployment of platforms

• Support onboarding, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and remediation

• Build new cybersecurity services platform to support services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)

• 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and servers

• Relevant certifications in infrastructure technologies

• Strong Microsoft domain and Active Directory knowledge

• Strong Linux administration skills

• Experience managing network security technologies (firewalls and WAF)

• Experience managing virtualization environments (VMware)

• Excellent documentation and diagramming skills

• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge advantageous
