Description

Work on a strategic cloud platform for risk management by designing and delivering scalable data processing solutions. Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders across locations to integrate systems, improve existing pipelines and services, and implement operational best practices. Promote automated tests using test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions aligned with business needs
• Integrate internal systems with a focus on efficient data processing and cost optimization
• Create and maintain reference solutions for ingesting and processing market data
• Review and improve existing data pipelines, microservices, and partner solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Apply best practices for logging, monitoring, error handling, and automatic recovery
• Promote automated tests, including unit and regression tests, using a test-driven development approach

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java and object-oriented design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS)
• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot and its ecosystem
• Documented experience designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines
• Strong experience building REST APIs and distributed applications
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (preferred PostgreSQL and Bigtable)
• Good knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD, including Jenkins and Groovy scripting
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and communication/collaboration abilities
• Advanced English proficiency
