Description

You will work in a stable industrial environment with a multinational team (Germany, Poland) for a major automotive manufacturer. The role is primarily data engineering and data infrastructure: building workflows and jobs, maintaining and debugging pipelines, migrating/updating AWS services, and automating repetitive activities with regression testing. You will also review code from other data engineers in an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and data engineers

• Create and maintain workflows, jobs, and data pipelines

• Debug and maintain data infrastructure components

• Migrate to or update AWS services

• Perform regression testing and automate repetitive activities

• Develop and automate solutions; own what you code

• Review colleagues’ code in an IaC environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering

• Proficiency in Python

• Hands-on SQL experience, including complex query writing

• Basic knowledge of AWS data services: S3, Glue, Athena

• Strong communication and team collaboration

• Experience with Agile ways of working

• English B2/C1

• Willingness to commute to Katowice or Gdańsk (located in Poland)

• Openness to occasional business trips abroad and office visits

• EU citizenship
