Description

Join a large-scale Data & Analytics program in the financial sector as a Lead Data Analyst. The role combines advanced data analysis and transformation with responsibility for coordinating analytics areas, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and sharing knowledge within the team. You will work on complex payment-related environments, modern security technologies, and transformation projects for leading financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex data analysis and transformation activities on large datasets

• Translate business requirements into effective analytical and data solutions

• Perform advanced analyses using Python, SQL, and PySpark

• Support development and optimization of data transformation processes and pipelines

• Lead and coordinate analytical workstreams

• Collaborate with business, technology, and data teams

• Identify data quality issues, trends, and business opportunities

• Support the team in solving complex analytical problems and making decisions about data approaches

Requirements

• Practical, very good experience with Python (upper intermediate or advanced), SQL, and PySpark

• Experience with large datasets and data transformation pipelines

• Experience in the financial industry (banking, payment services, fintech, or related)

• Leadership experience or a role requiring coordination of a team/workstream/analytics area

• Experience coordinating analytical work and supporting other analysts

• Ability to translate business requirements into data and analytical solutions

• Very good analytical and logical thinking; ability to solve complex problems

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and align technical solutions to business needs

• Independence, responsibility, and ability to organize work within complex initiatives

• English proficiency B2+
