Description

You will support the operation of web applications and products by managing Linux (mostly Ubuntu) servers, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll strengthen monitoring, backups, security, and overall operational quality, and when issues happen you’ll investigate true causes and prevention. You’ll also look for automation opportunities and use AI to reduce routine work while taking ownership of specific infrastructure areas.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (mostly Ubuntu)

• Operate and maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments

• Manage cloud infrastructure

• Improve monitoring, backup processes, security, and reliability

• Perform root-cause analysis for outages and production incidents

• Support customer application operations and prepare materials for operational reporting

• Identify and implement automation (including AI-assisted workflows)

• Propose and influence improvements to infrastructure and processes

Requirements

• Practical experience with Linux server administration (work, school, or personal projects)

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and computer networking basics

• Technical curiosity and self-driven problem solving

• Interest in IT security across servers and company processes

• Ability to independently analyze problems, drive solutions, and consider technical impact vs. cost/benefit
