Description

Lead and scale a remote engineering organization in a hands-on leadership role. You will grow engineering managers, drive delivery predictability and cross-team execution, and provide technical leadership on architecture, reliability, and production issues. Partner with Product, Operations, and customer-facing teams to turn priorities into shipped outcomes for AI-driven pharmacy automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering managers across multiple teams

• Set expectations for delivery, quality, and team health

• Own engineering execution, including planning, delivery predictability, and cross-team coordination

• Provide technical leadership on architecture, reliability, and production issues

• Define and track engineering effectiveness metrics and improve how teams build and ship (including through AI-assisted development)

• Partner with Product, Operations, and customer-facing teams to align priorities

• Join customer conversations on complex integrations and technical escalations when needed

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant hands-on work

• 4+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers

• Experience leading multiple engineering teams in a fast-growing organization

• Strong background in backend and API services, third-party system integrations, and automation running in production

• Experience building or leading teams that build AI-powered products and automation

• Experience scaling an engineering organization through rapid growth

• Track record of improving delivery, accountability, and team performance

• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including enterprise customers

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
