Description

You will lead the architecting, development, debugging, and deployment of silicon firmware libraries for ANC (Accelerator Network Controller) and compute/SoC infrastructure subsystems. You will influence microarchitecture decisions, drive first-silicon bring-up, and provide technical leadership across firmware, hardware, validation, security, and platform software teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive firmware architecture for ANC, Compute, and SoC infrastructure subsystems

• Influence microarchitecture decisions with silicon architects during specification and design

• Lead firmware strategy across silicon generations and platform programs

• Develop silicon firmware libraries in C/C++ for compute engines, ANC subsystem, DMA engines, and related IP blocks

• Create scalable, maintainable firmware frameworks and APIs

• Lead first-silicon bring-up activities

• Drive root-cause analysis for firmware, hardware, performance, and validation issues

• Define firmware verification requirements and test plans

• Lead cross-team initiatives spanning firmware, silicon architecture, software, security, and system integration

• Provide engineering alignment across distributed teams

• Represent firmware technical direction in architecture and leadership reviews

• Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural review processes; guide engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C/C++/C# or other listed languages (or equivalent)

• Ability to pass required security screening (Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable customer/government screenings)

Benefits

• Base pay range (U.S.): USD $142,800–$274,800 per year; Bay Area/NYC metro range: USD $188,000–$304,200 per year
