Description

You will design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions, driving modern engineering practices through design and code reviews. You will perform system design with well-defined interfaces across multiple components, leveraging data and telemetry to make decisions, and build modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, and reusable systems with strong test coverage.

You will also troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions
• Drive modern engineering practices via design and code reviews
• Perform system design across multiple components using well-defined interfaces
• Improve test coverage and implement integration tests; resolve problem areas
• Prioritize testability, portability, monitoring, reliability, and maintainability
• Use data-driven approaches to contribute to cohesive end-to-end user experiences
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience
• Coding experience in languages including: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• Pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Benefits

• Base pay range (U.S.): USD $165,600 - $296,400 per year (location-specific ranges apply)
