Description

You will work on a high-profile web application project to enhance an existing application for the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. The work involves designing and developing both the front end and server side, integrating with existing authentication/authorization systems, and working with multiple databases and applications.

You are expected to develop quality code, participate in active code reviews, collaborate transparently, and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis and design

• Develop front-end and back-end web application components

• Test solutions and participate in interactive code reviews

• Develop using Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC with C#, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo, CSS, HTML, and SQL Server

• Create and edit stored procedures and other database objects (tables, views, functions)

• Integrate with existing systems and utilize data from multiple databases/applications

• Share expertise and document technical work

Requirements

• 5+ years application development expertise using .NET MVC Core with C# and JavaScript, including CSS and HTML

• 5+ years experience with Visual Studio for .NET application and web application design patterns

• 5+ years experience with SQL Server and client tools, including creating/updating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions

• 3+ years experience with Bootstrap and Entity Framework Core

• 3+ years experience using Git for source control

• 2+ years experience creating Power BI reports

• Must be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI before starting (at your own expense)
