Description

You will be responsible for end-to-end development, enhancement, and productionization of Trident’s GenAI capabilities. The work covers AI software engineering for agents, intents, tools, prompts, orchestration logic, and RAG, along with production-grade Python/FastAPI services, LLMOps, AI quality, and observability. You will also optimize latency, token consumption, failure modes, response quality, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance AI agents and end-to-end agent workflows
• Develop and maintain intents, prompts, tools/function integrations, and AI orchestration logic
• Build and enhance RAG and enterprise knowledge-retrieval capabilities
• Develop new AI features and continuously enhance existing capabilities
• Develop and maintain backend services supporting AI agents, conversation flows, and integrations
• Develop production-grade Python and FastAPI services
• Build scalable services using asynchronous Python programming (async/await and concurrency patterns)
• Design and integrate REST APIs and connect LLMs/agents with enterprise data sources and downstream services
• Engineer solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Search
• Support conversation state, context management, and agent/service integration patterns
• Develop automated unit, integration, regression, and AI evaluation testing
• Establish AI quality controls (groundedness, regression evaluation, guardrails)
• Implement AI observability using OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor
• Analyze and optimize latency, token consumption, model/API failures, response quality, and cost
• Support AI incident analysis and root-cause investigation for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role, or significant knowledge and experience to perform the responsibilities
• Strong production-grade Python development
• FastAPI and backend/microservice engineering experience
• Asynchronous programming with async/await and concurrency patterns
• AI agent and agentic workflow development
• Intents, prompts, and tool/function development
• RAG and enterprise knowledge retrieval
• Backend services and REST API integration
• Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Search experience
• LLM/API integration experience
• Docker/containerized applications
• Git/GitHub and CI/CD fundamentals
• AI evaluation and LLMOps
• AI quality, guardrails, and application/AI observability
