Description

Provides evaluation, treatment, and follow-up to patients within a clinical nursing program. Serves as a primary point of contact for patient care and education and helps ensure efficient, effective processes that support safe patient care across the continuum of care. Coordinates and supervises nursing standards of practice, participates in clinical program development and performance improvement, and may perform specific procedures or orient staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state where care is provided
• 2 years of recent relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry safety precautions, patient care best practices, privacy, and relevant regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for sensitive information with diverse audiences
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite: Word and Outlook) and EHR exposure (EPIC preferred)
• Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple tasks and interruptions
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
• Commitment to protecting patients’ PHI
