Description

Provides clinical and administrative leadership to a nursing clinic team to support quality patient care. Coordinates departmental activities and resources, drives process improvement aligned to dashboard targets, and monitors employee, clinician, and patient satisfaction survey results to implement action plans. Consistently implements and monitors policies, workflows, competency, and training, while providing direct patient care within your RN license and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative direction to nursing clinic personnel and activities

• Manage and integrate departmental locations’ activities and resources

• Identify, implement, and execute process improvement initiatives tied to dashboard targets

• Monitor satisfaction survey results and implement action plans as needed

• Implement and monitor policies, workflows, competency, and training

• Provide direct patient care per RN license and scope of practice

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• RN-Registered Nurse of California

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification

• 5 years of recent relevant experience

• Demonstrated basic nursing skills

• Effective English verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to coordinate the care plan for patient care delivery

• Completion of SMF orientation: Basic Skills Assessment, Epic and IDX course work, and competency assessment

• Completion of department-specific orientation

• Knowledge of community resources and legal policies relating to patient decisions and outcomes

• Skills in delegation, leadership, and team management

• Knowledge of performance standards of other team members

• Computer skills including Epic, Intelliden, and IDX
