Description

Provide architectural leadership across large, complex Salesforce engagements in the Defense & National Security space. Serve as a trusted, hands-on advisor to executive and delivery stakeholders, shaping solution vision from initial solutioning through execution to ensure mission-critical programs deliver measurable outcomes. Own architectural integrity, align stakeholders, manage risks, and uphold Professional Services Methodology best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the client

• Lead or contribute to internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice and share expertise

• Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies to increase business value

• Communicate and teach complex concepts; use creative, prescriptive thinking across client leadership levels

• Proactively identify and manage risk areas through complete resolution

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with the customer and third-party partners

• Review and correct project/program direction and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable

• Drive program vision and advise on program/project strategies leveraging the Salesforce platform

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or consulting on the Salesforce Platform throughout the whole life cycle, with demonstrable success

• Expertise in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy; convert current-state complexity into clear target-state designs and close capability gaps

• Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and producing detailed system/functional designs

• Experience documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, and sequence diagrams; recommend improved future-state processes and designs

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate rationale to diverse stakeholders

• Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences

• Ability to connect with people across diverse roles

• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain the required U.S. Government security clearance (MBI for Moderate Public Trust)
