• Schedule: 8-hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday

Description

Join a healthcare team providing specialized foot and ankle care. The role includes thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating foot disorders (including through surgical procedures when necessary), and creating individualized treatment plans. You will also prescribe medications and orthotic devices as needed and educate patients on proper foot care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles
• Diagnose and treat foot disorders such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and infections
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Perform surgical procedures on the foot and ankle
• Prescribe medications and orthotic devices as needed
• Educate patients on proper foot care techniques

Requirements

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatry
• Board certification in Podiatry
• Valid state podiatry license
• Proficiency in ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
• Experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and operating room (OR) settings (preferred)
