Description

You will join a team developing modern backend solutions, building and evolving FastAPI-based services with async programming and contemporary software engineering practices. The role includes adding new functionality, integrating systems, and migrating selected legacy components into a microservices architecture. Hybrid collaboration includes working from the Warsaw office twice per month.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python backend applications

• Design and build asynchronous APIs with FastAPI

• Create and develop REST API integrations

• Ensure code quality via automated tests and static code analysis

• Contribute to architecture design and adoption of software engineering best practices

• Participate in CI/CD processes

• Collaborate on migration to a modern microservices-based architecture

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial Python experience

• Minimum 1 year of FastAPI experience

• Experience with at least two Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django, Sanic, Tornado)

• Practical async/await experience

• Very good knowledge of REST APIs

• Docker knowledge

• Experience with CI/CD processes

• Knowledge of best practices: static analysis, code typing, automated tests, DRY, SOLID, KISS, YAGNI
