Description

You will help modernize a financial reporting platform used by finance, management, and investment teams. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and reconciliation workflows to ensure accurate, high-quality, reliable financial data, as well as developing analytical applications and reporting tools with user interfaces for actionable insights. You will take ownership across the full development lifecycle, from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and improve the financial reporting platform

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and reconciliation workflows

• Build analytical applications, reporting tools, and visualizations for financial analysis and decision-making

• Develop validation and adjustment tools to improve accuracy, strengthen controls, and reduce manual work

• Collaborate with finance, valuation, and technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

• Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance

• Analyze data flows and calculation logic to identify gaps and improve reporting processes

• Create intuitive UIs to investigate financial trends, exceptions, and performance drivers

• Support production systems, monitor performance, and continuously improve reliability

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience and a background in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Strong experience in data engineering, analytics, ETL, and data reconciliation using T-SQL, Python, and Airflow

• Solid software development skills in Python or C#

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end systems and coordinating with users/business stakeholders

• Knowledge of front-end development and data visualization using JavaScript and React

• Ability to build reliable systems with a focus on numerical accuracy, data quality, and operational stability

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• High ethical standards when working with sensitive business and financial data
