Description

Mid Integration Developer needed for the NABC project, transforming the digital business domain. You will design, develop, and maintain integration services and APIs, building integrations between systems in a microservices architecture while ensuring quality, security, availability, and performance. You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams, with room to grow in API-related work, asynchronous integrations, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain integration flows and APIs according to requirements and Definition of Done

• Participate in technical decisions for integration and API implementation aligned with architecture standards

• Ensure quality, security, availability, and performance of delivered solutions

• Diagnose technical issues and identify and remove root causes

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, Product Owners, and project teams to clarify requirements and agree on solutions

• Support estimation and planning, and identify/analyze technical risks

• Help team members solve technical problems and share best practices

• Take part in regular code reviews and improve code-quality standards and automation of the software delivery process

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience building Java applications, including practical knowledge of Java 21+ and Spring Boot

• Preferred: experience with Spring Cloud and Hibernate

• Experience designing and implementing inter-system integrations and APIs using REST, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SOAP, XML

• Experience building asynchronous integrations using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or another message broker

• Experience with integrations using an API Management platform, including publishing and securing APIs

• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and experience deploying in Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD processes, especially with Bamboo or Jenkins, and with Git/Bitbucket

• Practical knowledge of deployment automation and working with Jira

• Experience writing unit tests and using Java testing frameworks

• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle, including creating and optimizing SQL queries

• Documented autonomy in solving problems and making technical decisions
