Description

Join a team responsible for building and evolving a distributed platform in the network security and traffic segmentation domain. You will combine architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on Go development to set the technical direction, ensure solution quality, and support production delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a new engineering team for strategic product areas
• Define the technical direction and maintain high quality of delivered solutions
• Collaborate with Product Managers on business needs analysis, prioritization, and planning
• Design and develop Go-based solutions
• Participate actively in implementation of key features and support the team in solving complex technical problems
• Collaborate with other backend, platform, and infrastructure component teams
• Define integration architecture and API contracts between systems
• Oversee delivery lifecycle from concept to production deployment
• Develop processes that improve reliability, security, and scalability
• Support the team with mentoring, regular feedback, and a continuous improvement culture
• Participate in hiring processes and develop skills of new team members

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams as Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager close to the code
• Experience delivering and developing production systems used by business clients
• Ability to recruit, onboard, and develop engineers and build an effective team
• Very good knowledge of Go with ongoing production coding
• Experience designing and developing distributed backend systems
• Understanding of API design, system integrations, and cross-team technical collaboration
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical tasks and manage the backlog
• Experience working with product teams to set priorities and scope
• Advocate for high code quality through code reviews, tests, and engineering best practices
• Ability to analyze and resolve production environment problems
• Understanding of monitoring, telemetry, tests, and safe change deployment processes
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices
• English proficiency at least C1
• Advantage: networking, network security, or infrastructure systems experience (not required)
