Description

You will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and developing data processing workflows within a banking environment. The role focuses on ETL maintenance and development, Oracle 19c database administration and performance tuning, and production monitoring and incident troubleshooting. You will also support change implementation while ensuring data consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop ETL processes; modify existing data loading flows using Ab Initio and IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Administer and optimize databases: tune SQL queries, optimize PL/SQL procedures, improve table structures

• Monitor production data warehouse loads daily; analyze logs and respond to errors

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve incidents in production and test environments

• Implement business changes within the existing data model while ensuring data consistency and quality

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining data warehouse systems or data repositories

• Practical domain knowledge of data structures and banking business processes (mandatory)

• Very good knowledge of Oracle 19c and advanced SQL query writing/optimization, including PL/SQL scripting

• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio (mandatory)

• Experience in production monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing ETL performance issues

• Willingness to work rotating 8-hour shifts (morning or afternoon)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with existing code

• Availability to work from the Wrocław office at an agreed frequency
