Description

You will work in a mature data ecosystem based on Oracle 19c, Ab Initio, and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The goal is to maintain and evolve existing ETL and data warehouse components—without building the system from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio and IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Work with Oracle 19c databases, including SQL tuning, PL/SQL procedure optimization, and table structure optimization

• Monitor daily data loads, analyze logs, and respond immediately to errors

• Handle incidents by diagnosing and resolving production and test environment failures

• Implement new business requirements into the existing data model and ensure data quality

Requirements

• Experience maintaining data warehouse systems

• Practical domain knowledge of data structures and data processes in the banking sector

• Very good knowledge of Oracle database, including 19c, with advanced SQL and PL/SQL development and optimization

• Practical experience with Ab Initio

• Experience with production monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing ETL performance issues

• Analytical problem-solving approach and ability to work with existing code

Nice to have

• Commercial experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Knowledge of Git version control system

• Experience working in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Agile
