Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect for a project focused on high-performance data processing and network telemetry. You will design and optimize scalable network services that handle large volumes of data, with strong performance engineering and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-performance network services and large-scale data processing systems

• Develop solutions for scalable network telemetry data processing

• Apply performance engineering practices (profiling, memory/CPU/throughput optimization)

• Troubleshoot network-related issues using packet capture and traffic analysis

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go and asynchronous Python programming

• Proven experience designing and optimizing high-performance network services and large-scale data processing systems

• In-depth knowledge of L2/L3/L4 networking, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, and MTU

• Hands-on experience with network telemetry protocols: NetFlow v5/v9, IPFIX, sFlow

• Experience with Apache Kafka, Protocol Buffers, and columnar/time-series databases such as ClickHouse

• Strong performance engineering skills (profiling, memory management, CPU utilization, throughput optimization)

• Good understanding of Linux internals, containerization, and Kubernetes

• Experience with automated testing and load testing, maintaining high code quality standards

• Ability to troubleshoot network issues using packet capture/traffic analysis tools

Nice to have

• Experience with eBPF, NATS, NSQ, or ZeroMQ

• Network device configuration automation (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto)

• Familiarity with Azure or AWS services and Windows/Active Directory integration

• Experience designing distributed systems (state synchronization and recovery strategies)

• Experience packaging and deploying self-contained applications in customer-managed infrastructure
