Description

You will gather and refine reporting requirements with business users, define acceptance criteria, and map business concepts to data warehouse tables, fields, and processing rules. You will validate KPI definitions and business rules, then verify data correctness using SQL by comparing results across sources, the data warehouse, and reports. You will also prepare test scenarios, coordinate acceptance testing, and document requirements for BI and Data Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clarify reporting requirements; run workshops and define acceptance criteria
• Analyze data sources and map business concepts to data warehouse structures and processing rules
• Align KPI definitions and business rules (aggregation, date ranges, filters, exceptions)
• Verify data correctness with SQL by comparing results across sources, warehouse, and reports; explain missing/duplicate/discrepancy cases
• Create test scenarios and test data; test reports; coordinate UAT with business users
• Document requests/changes for Data Engineering and BI teams; validate fixes; support business prioritization
• Maintain documentation of requirements and KPI definitions; support users in interpreting results

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis or data analysis in projects related to data warehouses, reporting, or Business Intelligence
• Practical SQL skills for joins, aggregation, filtering, and result comparison
• Knowledge of relational database and data warehouse basics: keys, relationships, fact/dimension tables, granularity, and ingestion/refresh processes
• Ability to convert business needs into calculation rules, test scenarios, and measurable acceptance criteria
• Experience in data quality verification and report testing (differences from filters, periods, aggregations, or event registration timing)
• Familiarity with reporting tools, preferably Power BI, including understanding the report, data model, measures, and interactions
• Independence, accuracy, and strong communication with business and technical teams
