Description

Manage, maintain, and enhance enterprise server operating systems and core platform services. Monitor OS health, performance, capacity, and security baselines and take proactive remediation actions. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (RCA), and oversee backup, disaster recovery, patching schedules, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and harden server environments according to corporate security and compliance policies

• Troubleshoot complex OS and infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis (RCA)

• Manage backup, disaster recovery, patching schedules, and keep technical documentation up to date

• Provide hands-on support for server migrations, system upgrades, and strategic infrastructure projects

• Automate recurring administrative tasks using scripting and modernize deployment pipelines

• Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers during technical escalations and lifecycle management

Requirements

• Solid, hands-on experience with enterprise Windows Server administration

• Practical knowledge in OS hardening, patch management, and lifecycle support

• Certification and/or deep practical knowledge aligned with AZ-800 and/or AZ-801

• Strong understanding of server virtualization, backup & recovery, and disaster recovery (DR)

• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell)

• Awareness of emerging AI-driven tools and automation trends in infrastructure operations

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and focus on end-user experience and operational continuity

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication in an international English-speaking environment
