Description

You will provide technical and disciplinary leadership and take end-to-end responsibility for the product lifecycle—from concept and implementation through operation and continuous optimization of enterprise applications and services. The role focuses on driving proactive software/product evolution and continuous improvements to the user experience while meeting architecture, security, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a newly formed DevSecOps team of 8–10 employees.
• Ensure stability, availability, performance, service quality, and revision/audit reliability for business-critical applications and the responsible service providers, products, and services.
• Proactively drive the further development of the software products and monitor market trends.
• Work with the team to continuously improve the user experience.
• Establish and strengthen a modern DevSecOps culture with efficient ways of working to increase delivery capability.
• Own overall product lifecycle responsibility (conception/implementation → operations → continuous optimization).
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security, and compliance requirements within your scope.
• Coordinate cross-team and external partner collaboration and actively manage stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency on costs, service scope, service quality, and target attainment.
• Support rollouts of new products and platforms and participate in cross-functional projects.
• Continuously advance digital collaboration, automation, and AI integration within your scope.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience in an IT/product/platform/application environment.
• Solid experience operating and further developing enterprise applications in complex system landscapes.
• Knowledge of capital management company (KVG) processes, including (at least some of): fund accounting, order management, market and master data, fund price calculation, or data warehousing.
• Good understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud technologies, and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of IT security requirements, compliance, and governance.
• Experience steering external service providers and managing service/supplier relationships.
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance at all organizational levels.

• Initiative, decisiveness, and strong ownership mindset.
