Description

You will manage key production data, procedures, and optimization within the company’s QI information system. The work includes structuring items (make vs. buy), coordinating internal-to-external processing flows and returns, creating assembly standards and time benchmarks, and ensuring shop-floor data is accurate in the system. You will analyze production costs and propose process simplifications to reduce time and cost.

Responsibilities

• Set up the structure of new items in QI (decide what to produce in-house vs. purchase)

• Plan component flows from the workshop to external processing (e.g., galvanizing, painting) and back

• Develop and refine assembly procedures, create clear assembly instructions, and define time standards

• Validate that real work and material consumption are correctly captured in QI; identify deviations and correct data with workshop leaders

• Analyze manufacturing costs and propose improvements to simplify, speed up, or reduce costs

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting (technologist, standards/norming, process specialist, or technical controller)

• Logical, systems-based thinking to decompose a product into parts, operations, and cooperation steps

• Experience with corporate ERP/information systems (mandatory)

• Experience with the QI information system is a strong advantage; training will be provided if needed

• Ability to communicate with workshop foremen, discuss real status, and justify the correct process and system in an assertive but human way
