Description

You will design, develop, and maintain key components of a cloud MFA platform in PHP and Laravel, including secure, scalable multi-tenant APIs and SSO/MFA flows. The role involves evaluating security for SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0, implementing integrations with enterprise identity and security systems, and expanding the web frontend with Angular/TypeScript where needed. You’ll contribute to architecture and engineering standards while working with AI-assisted development (e.g., Claude Code) and maintaining high code and security quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud MFA core components in PHP and Laravel

• Build secure, scalable, well-documented APIs used by products, customers, and partners

• Design SSO/MFA services and flows for SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0; assess security

• Lead integrations with Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender), external identity providers, and IAM/SIEM systems

• Develop frontend parts in Angular and TypeScript when required

• Ensure security across authentication, authorization, session and token management, data protection, and resistance to common attacks

• Shape system architecture and ensure performance/scalability for multi-tenant usage

• Bring in proven SaaS engineering practices and team improvements

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and maintain high code quality

• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Docker-based environments, and AWS infrastructure

• Define team standards for AI coding agents and build automation (e.g., CLAUDE.md, custom commands, automated code review)

• Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior engineers

• Collaborate with product managers, QA, support, and cybersecurity specialists
