Description

Join a team developing and maintaining web applications that support funding-related workflows—from publishing calls, to registration of applications, and their evaluation. You will extend existing solutions, improve code quality, and optimize the software delivery process. The work includes building REST APIs, implementing features, and writing automated tests using CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP web applications using Yii2

• Design and implement user-facing functionality

• Build and extend REST APIs

• Implement solutions using Symfony and API Platform

• Write unit tests and automated functional tests

• Analyze and improve code quality; perform code reviews

• Prepare and update technical documentation

• Use CI/CD tools for building and code analysis automation

• Propose improvements to code, tools, and testing process

• Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues and uphold project standards

Requirements

• At least 8 years of PHP development (PHP 7+)

• Strong Yii2 knowledge (at least 5 years)

• Symfony experience (at least 5 years, version 4+)

• Practical use of GitLab

• API Platform knowledge (at least 3 years)

• Ability to write unit tests, preferably with PHPUnit

• Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL syntax, and REST API communication principles

• Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose

• Ability to independently analyze technical problems and find optimal solutions

• Ability to work in a team, share knowledge, and lead/participate in constructive code reviews
