Description

You will develop key modules of a mature e-commerce SaaS platform, including integrations, orders, and warehouse management. The role focuses on writing efficient pure PHP code (without popular frameworks), manually optimizing complex MySQL queries (without ORM), and refactoring legacy components while building unit and functional tests. You will also design new solution architecture and create REST APIs, collaborating closely with product and QA.

Responsibilities

• Develop core system modules for e-commerce (integrations, order system, warehouse management)
• Write performant, clean PHP code without popular frameworks
• Create and optimize complex database queries in pure MySQL without ORM support
• Refactor older parts of the system while adding unit and functional tests
• Ensure code quality and modularity using best engineering practices
• Design architecture for new solutions and build APIs
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into optimal technical solutions

Requirements

• Multi-year commercial experience as a Senior PHP Developer
• Fluent pure PHP (8.2+) and object-oriented programming
• Very good MySQL skills, including manual SQL writing and optimization without ORM
• Ability to navigate and debug extensive legacy code independently
• Practical experience with automated tests using PHPUnit
• Deep understanding of application performance and code optimization
• Practical knowledge of Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ
• Ability to design and integrate REST APIs; knowledge of OpenAPI
• Autonomy, analytical thinking, and mature approach to software engineering
